Hard Florida sunlight throws the striped shadows of palm fronds across a pale wall. Text: In Florida, good design starts with shade.

Good design starts with shade

Caption

In 1953 Paul Rudolph put a slatted shade roof over an entire house on Lido Shores and called it the Umbrella House. The Sarasota School architects designed for the place they were in: the sun, the heat, the breeze. We try to do the same with websites and brands. Design for the people and the place, not for the template. Link in bio. #SarasotaSchool #Architecture #Sarasota #Design
